Itinerary

Day 1Arrive at Entebbe Airport

On your arrival you will have to go through the Covid-19 procedures, then you will be received by the guide who will also present to you his negative covid 19 certificates. Later he will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2Transfer to Lake Mburo NP

After the morning breakfast you will have a 2–3-hour drive to Mburo National Park where you are to have an overnight stay and an evening game drive as you enter the park. Lake Mburo National Park is the only park that is near the capital city of Uganda and the smallest national park, it is home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impalas, eland, buffaloes, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck.

Day 3Lake Mburo NP to Bwindi

After the breakfast you will have a morning game drive as you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an overnight stay. This will take you 6-7-hour drive.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a home for colobus monkeys, and many birds. It is most notable for the 400 Bwindi gorillas, half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas. 14 habituated mountain gorilla groups are open to tourism in four different sectors of Buhoma, Ruhijja, Rushaga and the Nkuringo in the Districts of Kanungu, Kabale and Kisoro respectively all under the management of Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Day 4Bwindi - Gorilla Tracking

After the early morning breakfast you will set off for Gorilla trekking. This will take 2-6 hours; this is one of the most exciting experience one can have as you watch the movements and the social life of these giants in the jungle. Rangers will be available to answer all your questions in regard to these primates. After you will come back at your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 5Drive to Queen Elizabeth

After the breakfast, you will have a 5–6-hour drive to the Northern part of Queen Elizabeth national park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a place where you can go to quench your thirst of game viewing. It has naturally gifted 95 mammal species over 600 bird species, bats, reptiles and a lot of insect species. It is with the highest number of hippos, elephants, buffaloes in east Africa, what a great deal of wilderness it can be. You will reach in the afternoon and have a game drive as you enter the park.

Day 6Have a game drive and a boat trip and drive to Kibale

After the early morning breakfast, you will have a game drive in Kasenyi area in search for the various animals, later in the afternoon you will go for a boat trip then proceed to Kibale National Park.
Kibale National Park is home to a total of 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primate including the chimpanzee. It also contains over 375 species of birds. Kibale adjoins Queen Elizabeth National Park to the south to create a 180km-long corridor for wildlife between Ishasha, the remote southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Sebitoli in the north of Kibale National Park. The Kibale-Fort Portal area is one of Uganda’s most rewarding destinations to explore. The Park lies close to the tranquil Ndali-Kasenda crater area and within half a day’s drive of the Queen Elizabeth, Rwenzori Mountains and Semuliki National Parks, as well as the Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve.

Day 7Kibale NP - Kampala

After breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale national park and Leiter proceed to Kampala where you will have a Covid test in the evening. This is where you are required to receive a negative certificate for Covid-19 that you are to present to the airport at your departure

Day 8Kampala City Tour

You will have a city tour and later be transferred to the airport to catch your evening flight back home.
